Weather:<\/strong> Overcast all day
\nSea Conditions:<\/strong> Flat initially but swell building quite nicely much to Jon\u2019s delight!<\/h3>\n

A lie in this morning and a late breakfast up in the buffet.\u00a0 Once again it was surprisingly quiet and no problems finding a table.<\/p>\n

When returning to the cabin, Callum also noticed that someone had left him some chocolates!!\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Today was meant to be \u201cFun in the Sun\u201d Day around the pool \u2026 but the strong winds and rocking ship meant this had to be relocated to Manhattan.\u00a0 Guess the Name of the Bear, Guess the combined age of the Youth Team and Number of Sweets in the Jar we were miles out.\u00a0 But Callum won prizes for the Tin Can Alley (a sweet!), Coin Rolling (toy fish), Tombola (Key Ring), Straw Pulling (inflatable photo frame) and Darts (Carton Speakers!). A mini disco rounded the event off.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Tonight was the performance of the Azura Choir in the Atrium.\u00a0 We\u2019d been listening in to their rehearsals for the last couple of sea days in the Planet Bar.\u00a0 Callum and I went ahead and caught the end of \u201cI Love The Flowers\u201d but the event had attracted a pretty good audience.\u00a0 I was really surprised with Callum \u2013 he listened very attentively to the songs and started the applause when the songs had finished.\u00a0 Afterwards we found seats at the window in Java and waited for Jon to join us.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Choir … we knew the songs off-by-heart as they rehearsed in The Planet Bar every sea-day afternoon!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Callum decided he would eat with us this evening so he dressed up once more (not formal night but he donned his waistcoat, tie and smart shirt!) and we grabbed a pager for the Main Dining Room.\u00a0 The soup was gorgeous (Jon\u2019s fav \u2013 Beef and Pearl Barley) and Callum and I opted for the steak.\u00a0 Needless to say, Callum\u2019s steak was twice the size of mine \u2026 so made sure he saved a chunk for Jon to taste.\u00a0 Jon had the Welsh Rarebit \u2013 it was really light and very welcome after all the food that\u2019s been eaten so far!<\/p>\n

Afterwards, Jon and I headed to the Glass House for a glass of wine and got chatting to a couple of chaps on their first cruise.\u00a0 Al (the Sommelier at the Glass House) got talking saying that he had a very special mission whilst on shore leave this time around.\u00a0 He\u2019d been planning a charity event for the last three years \u2013 driving Herbie \u2013 The Love Bug \u2013 over to Monte Carlo.\u00a0 Various celebrities had now signed up and the event was kicking off on 26th<\/sup> May.\u00a0 It was being filmed, but whether this would make it on mainstream TV or not we didn\u2019t know.\u00a0 We have the website so can find out more when we get back.<\/div>\n

We got back to the cabin and Callum found a frog on his bed.\u00a0 Thankfully not the green kind, but of the blue towelly kind \u2026 with chocolates for eyes!<\/p>\n
