Weather:<\/strong> Bright sunny start to the day, then getting windy\/cloudy with rainshowers by mid-afternoon.<\/h3>\n

Today is all about the chocolate (in Callum\u2019s eye\u2019s!)!!<\/p>\n

We all had a great night\u2019s sleep last night \u2026 the ships engines were running really quietly as we were mooring off-shore today and getting the tenders in to the pretty town of Korcula.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Callum awoke and his eyes were barely open when he proclaimed \u201cIt\u2019s Easter Day Today!!\u201d.\u00a0 He then spotted that the Easter Bunny had paid a visit and spent a while searching for eggs hidden around the cabin.<\/p>\n

The old town of Korcula was just ahead of Azura and we were dropping anchor offshore.\u00a0 Today was a tender operation and already 3 tenders were being dropped into the water from the starboard side and we guessed the same had happened on the other side.<\/p>\n

It was a bright, sunny start to the day but it was a little windy on the balcony \u2026 hopefully we wouldn\u2019t need jumpers or coats.<\/p>\n

In the past, it can take a while to get to shore whilst using the tenders.\u00a0 We had breakfast and headed to Malabar after we gathered cameras and coats together (just in case!) Boat Boarding cards 18, 19 and 20 had just been called and we were issued with number 22 so hopefully we wouldn\u2019t have a long wait.\u00a0 We had barely sat down when our number was called so headed down the staircase to Deck 4.<\/p>\n

It took about 10 minutes to get from the ship to the ashore and the team of photographers were there to capture the moment.\u00a0 They were getting the older children to do star jumps then taking photos of Azura between their legs!<\/p>\n

We wandered around to the main gate to enter the old town \u2026 it\u2019s a really small old town and wouldn\u2019t take too long to explore.\u00a0 A lot of shops and restaurants were closed (as it was Easter Sunday).\u00a0 It is quite picturesque town with extremely narrow lanes.\u00a0 We tried to climb the Marco Polo tower, but they wouldn\u2019t accept Euros so we just wandered around the outskirts of the town.\u00a0 The black clouds were racing in towards us so we decided to head back to the ship after walking around the city walls.<\/p>\n

There wasn\u2019t too much of a queue for the tender on the way back \u2026 and were lucky enough to get seats on the top of the tender so we could get some great views of Azura on the way back in.\u00a0\u00a0 We could feel some spots of rain as we got off the tenders.<\/p>\n

Overnight an Easter Egg Display appeared in the atrium \u2013 not as impressive as last years but still quite fun.<\/p>\n

We went to Sindhu for lunch and the staff now knew that Callum wanted his own set of Nashta.\u00a0 He once again chose the Chicken Lollipops, Beef Skewers and Duck Piri Piri (and he ate the lot).<\/p>\n

By the time we\u2019d finished lunch, the rain was well and truly chucking it down.\u00a0 Callum was dropped off in kids club for the Chocolate Feast and it was already packed with other very excited kids.<\/p>\n

Jon and I popped upstairs to the Planet Bar to carrying on reading our books and watching the rain showers come and go.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We ate in the Main Dining Room tonight as Callum was desperate to join in the Frontiers Easter Egg Hunt that evening.\u00a0 We were taken to our table only to find that our companions for the evening had already started eating so we chose quickly and as I only had a starter and Jon only the soup we soon caught up with them.\u00a0 A pretty good evening though \u2013 one couple were from Northwich in Cheshire and the other couple from Somerset or Devon way.\u00a0 In the nicest possible way, this lady reminded me a bit of Mrs Bucket \u2013 she wouldn\u2019t stop talking and Jon\u2019s main course was in danger of going cold!<\/p>\n

We were losing an hour tonight (again!) so we headed back to the cabin after the meal via Kids Club.\u00a0 There could only have been one choice of film tonight \u2013 Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory!<\/p>\n
