We had left the Norwegian Coast behind us and were heading back to Southampton. \u00a0Much to Jon’s disappointment, the seas were still as flat as a pancake – he’d much prefer the waves to be breaking over the ships bow!<\/p>\n

After breakfast, we had arranged to meet Mum in The Glass House for lunch – Callum had been very patiently waiting for us to play Uno with him, so we took a break from packing and found a table and settled down.<\/p>\n

I decided to go for a wine flight … Peller Ice, FMC and a glass of red … however, mum pinched my FMC before I even got a taste! \u00a0Oh well! \u00a0Lunch ordered – a combination of sandwiches, salads and sliders.<\/p>\n

Back to the cabin for more packing. \u00a0Callum decided he wanted to do the Family Bingo in Manhattan. \u00a0It was surprisingly good fun and a great idea to have sweetie numbers – if you have the sweetie number on your board, then you run down and grab a sweet!<\/p>\n

Callum also had a present to collect from the Loyalty Desk – another bright blue P&O hoody!<\/p>\n

The ships photographers on Azura were some of the best we’d come across on P&O – both in the photos they took and also, the time they took to talk to you and would go that extra mile to sort everything out. \u00a0P&O now offer all inclusive photo packages – every photo taken of you for \u00a390. \u00a0Alternatively, they do a package of 10 photos for \u00a370 which is the option we went for.<\/p>\n

The queues were pretty long for the photos, and as we needed the ones taken at Briksdal reprinted as they’d spelt “Glacier” wrong! \u00a0No trouble though. The changes they’d made to the pricing do seem to increased the sales of \u00a0photos. \u00a0In addition, very few photos from the format nights are printed – they just need to be ordered via the machines.<\/p>\n

Back to the cabin to chill and we’d run out of time to finish the Prosecco off in the fridge … bottle opened three of us enjoyed a glass of wine whilst Callum had a J2O.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Final dinner of the cruise and said goodbyes to our fabulous table companions and waiters. \u00a0Mum headed back to the cabin – Callum was determined to make it to the Syndicate Quiz this evening. \u00a0A few people seemed to be put off that we had a youngster with us (they joined any table with free places except ours!) … we did pretty well and ended the evening just one point off the eventual winners which was pretty good going – and yes, Callum did get a couple of questions right, that’s to his reading of trivia books (that Mel Blanc, the voice of Bugs Bunny hated carrots)!!!<\/p>\n

Cabin C710 & C714<\/h2>\n

We’d booked two balcony cabins next door to each other on C Deck for this cruise. \u00a0C Deck on Azura and Ventura has very generous size balconies. \u00a0They are partially overlooked – the third next to the ship is under the balconies of the deck above.<\/p>\n

Whilst the cabins do not have an interconnecting door, the balcony door can be opened so you can have access to each others balcony – and cabin if the balcony door isn’t locked.<\/p>\n

The cabins are a good size – a twin\/double bed, desk\/dressing table and two chairs. \u00a0No sofa though. The bathroom is small but perfectly functional with a shower. \u00a0What is nice is the walk in wardrobe which gives plenty of room for clothes. \u00a0The tall cupboard with shelves is narrower than on Ventura which is a shame as you can’t stack two piles of clothes next to each other. \u00a0A small safe means you can keep jewellry, passports, wallets and iPad\/Nexus tablets safe.<\/p>\n
