No swimming lesson this morning so tried to decide what to do on a free Saturday.  Our first choice of heading to Didcot was crossed off the list as they weren’t running diesel engines this weekend, so thought we would head out to the Swindon & Cricklade Railway<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

It was a very small station that ran a steam\/diesel engine between two stations with the old carriages.  To be honest, there isn’t an awful lot to see and we’d left it rather late in the day to get off at either end to do a bit of exploring.<\/p>\n\n\n
