A visit to watch Southern Brave in Hundred Action is becoming an annual pilgrimage. This is the third year running we’ve made it to watch the action. Alas the times of booking a balcony to watch the match is now beyond us – the hotel seem to have twigged they can sell the balcony rooms at a premium price.
This time around, Southern Brave were taking on Northern Superchargers in a double-header. The Women were up first followed by the men.

It’s really good fun to watch – it’s fast and furious and the end result really depends on how good a start you make.

Unlike the football stadiums, they’ve really got the food and drink side of the entertainment sorted. There is so much choice and plenty of food vans there along with the regular holders. With greek, indian and other cuisines available, you will feel hungry just wandering around.
Back to the action, the Southern Brave Women beat their Northern Supercharger counterparts quite convincingly whereas the Northern Supercharger Mens pulled off a resounding victory over the Southerners.
We were parked on the golf course, so a bit of a trek to reach the stadium, but as you could leave via back gate, we avoided the queues to get out the main entrance.
