Heading Home
It seemed as though we had timed the end of our holiday to perfection. After the heat of yesterday, we woke up this morning and it was hammering it down outside … rain was bouncing off the cars, roads and sidewalks. Thankfully we didn’t have any last minute sight-seeing planned for this morning – we had to pack as we were on an afternoon flight home. Much to Callum’s delight, breakfast was in the hotel!

Rain was just about easing off when our taxi arrived to take us to the airport. No traffic on the roads to the airport, straight through immigration and into the lounge to wait for our flight to be called. Callum enjoyed the cookies and M&Ms whilst Jon and I partook in a glass of bubbly.

Coming home, we were in Premium Economy – more leg room and larger seats. The flight was overnight so we all managed to catch a couple of hours sleep before arriving at Heathrow the next day.
A fantastic holiday with some great memories made.
