Bracknell – Pharoah’s Mystery

My birthday day out and we decided we would do an Escape Room … and we would try somewhere new.

The decision was to head across to Bracknell. I’d previous worked in the town as had Jon until they closed his office down recently. The town centre had changed beyond recognition and for the better!

It was another really well thought-out escape room with everything needed to be done chronologically so just focussing on each task in order.

Callum was so funny at the end. Not sure what he thought would happen but he jumped out of skin at the very end, dropping everything he held.

A wander around some of the shops – very boring but I needed a new pair of walking boots as mine had recently fallen apart. After this, we opted to try out The Giggling Squid for a birthday lunch. It’s classed as Thai Tapas. Food was OK (we’ve had better Thai’s) and fairly expensive for the portion size compared to the Thai Restaurants we like in Reading & Newbury. Decor was nice though!!

We did enjoy the Escape Room so will no doubt be back in Bracknell to try one of their other rooms.
