Sea: Slight
Weather: hot
A good nights sleep and we were ready to enjoy our first day onboard Azura. A little lie in meant we missed breakfast in served in the Main Dining Room so joined the masses in the Buffet Bunfight!

From here we headed down to the atrium for a Costa Coffee and the first of our holiday battles of Carcassonne (I won!).
We ended up finding a table in the shade by the pool to chill out.
For lunch, we just made the most of the poolside grill. Jon and Callum opted for burgers and I had the breaded chicken.
After lunch they had the individual quiz followed by Musical Bingo. Bingo cards listed songs and their artists and the they played snippets from the songs. If you had the song on your card, you could cross it off.
No worries if you didn’t know the song as they did reveal the song and artist before moving onto the next song. It was a really fun alternative to the usual bingo.
Afterwards, we continued to chill in the shade – I finally had time to finish Lessons in Chemistry.

We were sailing East across the Mediterranean Sea –

Tonight was a formal night so we duly dressed for dinner. The meal in the Main Dining Room started with an Amuse Bouche of a Mango and Ginger Smoothie.
For starters, I had the Gravalax whilst Jon and Callum had the mushrooms in pastry. We did go for soup as well. Jon and I chose the Cockaleekie and Callum the Minestrone.
There was no debating the main course – Beef Wellington all round.
Puddings, I went for a cheese plate, Jon some ice cream and Callum the Chocolate and Cashew Nut Cheesecake.
After dinner we went for a wander and discovered The Rocky Horror Show was the Movie under the Stars. We found a couple of sunbeds and decided to watch the rest of the film. There were a fair few kids wandering around and seeing their faces when they watched the film, was really funny. They hadn’t a clue what was going on … and hope they weren’t too traumatised! Just a shame the bar on deck closed earlier … and no-one coming around for drinks orders!
Back to the cabin after the film – we had a busy day ahead tomorrow. We were heading to Delphi.
