Sea: Calm
Weather: Hot
We’d been to Corfu previously and had spent the day exploring the Castle. It was too hot fo that today so we just wandered around the town and found a little cafe for cold drinks and ice cream.
We were back up on deck for the sailaway with the town and castles slowly disappearing from view.
This evening we had booked a table in The Beach House – one of the more casual dining venues with more cafe style dishes. no surprise with Callum choosing chicken wings for his starter. Jon and I had nachos. For mains, C had the impressive seafood skewer whilst Jon and I had to return to our favourite fillet steam cooked on a hot lava stone. We even chose desserts; Jon made a surprising choice of the banana split, I had the chocolate mousse on waffle and Callum had apple pie and ice cream. Jon’s banana split was by far and away the best dessert.
