We woke up as we were arriving back in Southampton. For the first time in a week, it was nice and sunny! We headed down for breakfast at 7.30am as we needed to get back and clear the cabin by 8am. We left all our belongings in the wardrobe area so at least the cabin steward could start preparing the cabin for the next passengers.
Once we had collected our cases, we headed to Malabar, our disembarkation lounge, to await being called to disembark the ship. We didn’t wait long … and we were off the ship by 9.30am. A short walk across the road to collect our car and we were heading home.
The Norwegian Fjords were stunning – and we hope to go back on another cruise there very soon.
