A trip to Marwell Zoo to find and tick off the miniature zebras and to see if there were any new animals. The weather wasn’t particularly brilliant so it proved to be a good day to visit as people stayed away.
As well as miniatures of the zebras dotted around the zoo, they had the giant Zebra – hopefully this would be made a permanent feature as he looked very cool. And the obligatory photo with the hippo!
It was a bit of a wet, dreary day so some of the animals weren’t playing ball but still plenty to see. All the miniatures were indoors and not particularly easy to photo (so we didn’t!)
Three tiger cubs were born earlier in the year and had just been allowed out into the enclosure with Mum. We kept our fingers crossed that we would see them. We kept popping back during the day and we eventually caught sight of two of the cubs at the far side of the enclosure.

No visit to Marwell without wandering by the Snow Leopard Enclosure to see if we can spot any of them. Just the one that decided to play ball today.
