Sea Day
Sea: Calm
Weather: Sunny

After three days visiting some fabulous cities, we welcomed a sea day to recharge our batteries. Added bonus in that we gained an hour overnight – an extra hour of sleep!
Back into our sea day routine – buffet for breakfast then down into the atrium for coffee/hot chocolate and a game of Carcassonne! Mum won again!!
Afterwards it was a wander around the ship … Jon and Callum were sporting their 50th Anniversary Tornadoes Shirts and several people commented that they wondered which team they were supporting!
The boys also discovered the golf nets and the sports court!

Once the boys bored of the golf, we headed back to the pool area. One of our favourite places to chill onboard is the comfy settees under cover at the edges of the pool area. It was great to sit, chill and read … and very close to the buffet and beachside grill for Callum!
There’s a music quiz around the pool at 2pm which we sometimes take part in (we don’t usually to that well!) and when it finishes, it’s time to head off for the Syndicate Quiz.
You can tell it’s a sea day – 50 teams took part in today’s battle much to Rach & India’s surprise so it took a while to get through all the questions and answers. We ended the quiz on 14/18 – the winners scored 16/18 so we didn’t do too badly.
Post-quiz we spent chilling on the balcony – it was formal night tonight so needed to get dressed up! Off to the Main Dining Room again tonight – short wait – just enough time to order drinks in the Blue Bar and take them into the dining room to drink.
Back up to the Sunset Bar to chill and read – the moon was looking pretty spectacular tonight.
