Snowdrops – Welford Park

Read Time:42 Second

It’s very late in the snowdrop season, but circumstances prevented us from coming any earlier.  Mum and I knew the snowdrops would be past their best, but in spite of this, we were pleasantly surprised just how good the display still was.

The rain held off whilst we were there and it was cloudy (with occasional appearances from the sun!).  Welford Park (home of the Great British Bake-Off!) is only open for the snowdrops for 4 weeks in the year – from February to very early March.

Lovely tea/coffee and cakes in the Tea Shop and a small shop with Snowdrop / Welford / Bake-off-themed things to buy.

TIP: The snowdrops are usually at their best during the first two weeks of opening – and go during the week as it gets busy of a weekend.Save
