Sea Day
Sea: Calm
Weather: Sunny
Another lazy day today as the ship wends its way around the bottom of Sweden heading towards Stockholm. We were barely moving so a shame the captain couldn’t “put his foot down” and get us into Stockholm early so we could spend overnight in port. Out of Copenhagen & Stockholm, we would have loved to have spent more time in Stockholm.
We followed our now usual routine of buffet breakfast, coffee in the atrium (avoiding Java as service was slow!) – we found a nice little area tucked away near the Market Place with windows so you could spot the odd ship or so.
Sun was still out in force on the balcony, so we went to our usual spot on the Lido deck to chill and read. Callum grabbed some pizza and southern fried chicken from the poolside grill and it’s close enough for us to grab a sandwich/salad from the buffet.
From here, it was straight down to the Crystal Room for the quiz. A really busy session as 42 teams were taking part. DJ Phil was joined by Stevie for the quiz. We ended up with 18/20 and tied for top spot again … as the other team didn’t drink, we ended up winning by default!
We headed back to the MDR for dinner tonight – not as eventful as yesterday evening. After dinner, it was heading to Brodies for the “Through the Decades” quiz. Again, a real mix of music and we ended up with 29 / 40.
Back to the cabin after Brodies – early start tomorrow as the sail-in to Stockholm is meant to be pretty spectacular, so we were determined to be up early watch this.
P.S. can’t believe we only took 1 photo today between us today!! Don’t worry, will make up for this tomorrow.
