Sea Day
Sea: Calm
Weather: Sunny
A lie in this morning as we had two sea days as we headed back home. At some point, we (I) would need to pack suitcases but we still had a couple of days to enjoy.
Breakfast in the buffet followed by coffee and a game of Carsassonne in the atrium before retiring to the comfy seats by the pool. The themed quiz was on and was a Geography quiz so we gave it a go. 17/20 wasn’t too bad an effort – but not good enough to win!
For lunch we treated ourselves to The Glass House. All really good and very tasty.
We have been well looked after when we’ve been in The Glass House – we were always greeted with a smile by Cherry and nothing was ever too much trouble.

No sooner that lunch was over, we moved over to the Syndicate Quiz. 48 teams taking part today and Lee and Abbi were in charge. 12/16 today with the winning team getting 14/16.
The captain also announced the most cruised passenger – Mrs Davies has spent 2750 nights onboard P&O ships (that’s nearly five and half years!) – Mum needs to go some to catch her up!

The afternoon was spent in the cabin – Jon on the balcony reading, Callum chilling on the sofa whilst I packed!!
We tuned into the sports channel on the TV (Jon and Callum hoping to hear news on the football) and they were showing the sailing race in Copenhagen.

It was our final formal night this evening and as a treat to celebrate Jon’s birthday, we had booked a table in Sindhu.
A lovely meal to round off our cruise. Both Callum and I chose the chocolate sphere for pudding … I did take a video (sad) but the host was very apologetic that it didn’t melt as it should have done and deducted these of the menu! She needn’t have done as the desserts were very tasty.
We headed back to the cabin to change into more casual clothes and headed up to the decks above the Sunset Bar to chill and spend the rest of the evening. It was very quiet with only a handful of people around.
