Final day of our holiday and we were determined to make the most of it. Our usual relaxed morning – buffet, coffee and Carcassonne, then back up to the cabin to chill and so I could finish packing the suitcases.
Callum ended up with another P&O hoody to add to his collection – delivered to the cabin and for the first time ever, we didn’t have to swap for a larger size (XL!)
35 teams took part in the final syndicate quiz hosted by Bryony and India and they ramped up the difficulty. We only scored 11/20 but finished top of the leader board!
Final evening meal of the cruise and we managed to get a table in The Beach House. For starters, Callum had wings, Jon the prawns and I had the nachos. For mains, Callum went for the burger, Jon the steak on Lava stone and I had the BBQ ribs. Food was all very good.
The chap on the next table had the Southern Fried Chicken and was telling everyone around that it was the best chicken ever. Just like KFC only 10 times better! Next time.
Final night drinks at Sunset Bar this evening and said goodbye to the chaps that had looked after us so well over the last two weeks. Back to the cabin to throw the last couple of bits in the suitcase and leave in the corridor … not before checking we all had underwear, trousers, tops, shoes to wear to get off the ship in the morning!
