Another glorious day and perfect to spend exploring Denmark on the HOHO bus. After breakfast, we headed off the ship to the HOHO stop and managed to get seats upstairs. The trip took us around the city.
We got off at Nyhavn to explore … and found a good spot for a local beer.

It was now getting rather warm so decided to call our time exploring on this cruise to a halt and head back to the ship.
The back of Britannia does look a bit ugly but we love having a cabin at the back of the ship. For sailaway, you get some great views over the wake.
Back onboard, Callum needed feeding so we sat out on the settees around the pool area to chill.
We then headed down to the Syndicate Quiz – Stevie was hosting and just 25 teams taking part today.
We were joint top of the leaderboard at the end of the quiz with 18/20 points. Tie-breaker time – how many species of Penguin are there. We guessed 24 – the other two teams guessed 11 and 9. The actual number was 17 – so we missed out on the wine today. Second place not bad though.
Dockside was fascinating – opposite where we docked was a cheese shaped building – it turns out it was some of a recycling centre cum indoor ski centre.
After a while we wandered up to Sunset Bar – there was some form of yachting race taking place in the bay. As it turned out, they were all practicing with the race taking place tomorrow.
In the evening, we headed down to the Main Dining Room again and made it to Brodies in time for the Great Movie Quiz. It wasn’t always a case of identifying the tune (we did OK on this) – it was questions about the films themselves. 13/20 with the winners scoring 18/20.
