Friday 29th June
A quiet day today as the builders were taking a day off – presumably in anticipation of a good England result against Belgium the previous night.
Thursday 28th June
And the brickwork continued. The lintels for the patio door and windows arrived and were put in place. We still needed the lintel that would be positioned above the bi-fold doors.
Wednesday 27th June
The inside layer of bricks and insulation was started today. They’ve gone as high as they can before the scaffolding tressles need to be used.

Tuesday 26th June
Great view from our front door at the mo! Regardless of the work ongoing, the grass was well and truly dried out, but we do have a bit of a dustbowl going on.
The walls grew higher and the kitchen window was starting to take shape.

Brickwork starting today … you can see where the patio and bi-fold doors will be – the bi-fold doors looks huge!
