Friday 26th July
It didn’t look as though much work was done today, but Jimmy was finishing off some of the roofing. Roof tiles hadn’t arrived, so he finished the lead work (apart from the flat hip-section) and the edges.

Thursday 25th July
Today, we have tiles on the roof … and the Velux windows installed. A slight miscalculation on the number of tiles needed; the trickier bits were done and they just left a small area at the front.
Patio doors would be coming out shortly so all the windows and doors were boarded up – they did a pretty thorough job sturdy wood/frames built and screwed into the wall.

Wednesday 24th July
The focus for this week was the roof – with Jimmy & co waiting for the tiles to be delivered. They eventually turned up on Tuesday afternoon!.
Today, the guys worked on getting the membrane onto the roof and secured it in place with cross beams.
