Saturday 21st July
No more progress on the building work this week although the velux windows have arrived!
Oh, and a new orange planning application as the SUDs part of the application has changed from the original application.
We hired a van today to move some of the bulkier items into storage … and also had a bit of a clearout in the garage to create some space for the work to start. As they are not knocking through, it hopefully won’t get too dusty – just hoping that if we keep everything to the one side, then we can keep some stuff in the garage. Safe to say, we will be hiring another van to move everything back once the work is complete. Will save going backwards and forwards with the cars! May see if one or two of the older nephews are wanting to earn some money!
Still got the freezer to sort out … and need to get rid of the desk and some other bits and pieces.
Wednesday 18th July
Fascias added today and the membrane added to the roof and the cross-rails added ready for the roof to be tiled. A little darker in the kitchen now!

Tuesday 17th July
Four guys on site today and the rest of the gable ends completed.
Monday 16th July
Back on site this morning to complete the brickwork at the gable ends. Just the two guys on site today – brickwork above the bifold door lintel completed and one half of the big gable end pretty much finished. Back tomorrow to finish off the other ends.
